My Sojourn

My path to this work has been shaped by years of experience in holistic health, education, sustainable food systems, and community-driven initiatives. With a background in behavioral neuroscience and a deep-rooted passion for integrative well-being, I have dedicated over a decade to meditation, including three transformative 10-day silent Vipassana retreats. Through these experiences, I have cultivated a profound appreciation for stillness, self-inquiry, and the interconnected nature of healing. From lab research and teaching to community program development and health coaching, my work is centered on fostering connection, mindfulness, and sustainable well-being; honoring both the individual and the collective in the pursuit of a balanced, thriving life.

My journey has been further enriched by my world travel, allowing me to study and experience diverse healing traditions and wellness practices. I have witnessed firsthand how personal well-being is woven into the fabric of our environment, relationships, and daily choices. Along the way, my journey has been shaped by the unexpected challenge of brain surgery, which led to the loss of part of my eyesight. This experience has deepened my understanding of resilience and presence, inviting me to approach life with greater acceptance and mindfulness. Similarly, motherhood has been a profound teacher, guiding me to embrace the qualities of patience, balance, and unconditional love, further enhancing my approach to holistic well-being. I am humbled by the lessons I have learned and confident in the wisdom they have imparted. Each experience has strengthened my commitment to living with intention and guiding others on their own paths to holistic well-being. With gratitude, I continue to walk this path, embracing the opportunity to support others in their journey.
